We Are The Scum Of The Earth

That beautiful woman with curly hair has been deserted for more than sixty years. She is sitting on the floor, pent-up, bare with consternation. Before her eyes, there is a slaughtered sheep. It was brutally killed as it was, reportedly, rabid. There are two dogs. Ostensibly, they are making love but this is far away from the truth! They are two males; one of them is indigent, afraid, and straight. While the other one is powerful, bloodsucker, and homosexual. Therefore, the indigent has nothing to do but lying down with bile. It is everyday practice with humiliation and utter submission.

The military guardian looks stern and vigilant. His paunch elucidates how satiating his diet is. We are perplexed if he is standing for dignity, or watching spoils. The scene is full of gory details and gloom.

That woman is voluble, but she is not allowed to have a say. When she wants to open up, she gets scorned and understated. She is sterile, they always covet everything she owns albeit. A suspicion of having precious gems or mere trinkets!

Hopefully, you will understand my point as I can not explicate any further. We are still watching that farce.

This is Walid Ebeid’s painting

Illusory

Hello Omar,

I am Christin,

When I read your message, I smiled once, and grieved twice.

Smiled because of women’s instinct to like flirtation and compliments even if they deny it.

And grieved twice, once over you, and once over me. It is the curse of beauty, Omar!

The curse that kills everyone.

It inflicts love on men, jealousy and envy on women.

It inflicts loneliness and depression on beautiful women.

Everybody is racing to reach out to her, but they remain in the rally leaving her out of reach. If he gets the chance to be by her side, he will grow miserable because of her misery.

He loves a woman who is in everyone’s heart, until he feels that she is no longer his, but rather everyone’s!

Beautiful women are the most miserable ones, Omar.

They break ordinary men’s hearts, while well-off men break theirs.

Excuse me, Omar!

We, broadcasters, are not beautiful even if we have some beauty.

It is the result of sleight of hand, stuffed beauty, artificial features, and deliberated allure.

One of us grieves over the falling of her false eyelashes more than the falling of atrocities. She fears the mistakes of misspelling more than the mistaken bombing.

We are nothing but toys, or maybe a machine reading good news and bad ones with the same feelings and features. There is no difference between the inauguration of a cabaret or slaughtering hundreds of your children at night.

Sorry Omar!

I have not asked you about your life

Because I know it well

I know it is as bad as the country you live in

There are some thieves among you. They appear at the expense of indigent people. They live in upscale villas. They falsely claim to speak up on behalf of the poor and hardworking.

Their conversations are boring. Their standpoints contradict with diverse information.

They allow themselves to speak on your behalf to get 200 dollars after each harangue.

We suffer from them more than you do.

Maybe we curse them more than you do.

Nonetheless, I congratulate this miserable country for having you and such obscure poets, and send my condolences because that gang was able to disfigure your images.

Leave them aside now!

I know you envy our men because of having our beauty, but you don’t know that we envy your women because of having you, because of your feelings full of softness, because of your magical words that can conquer any woman’s heart.

Your women do not probably realize your importance as we do. Maybe it is due to their conservative nature or rather stupidity!

Your neighbor may have peeked out of the window and snatched your heart and messages.

Your colleague may have approached you at university or work. Hopefully, she would be able to get a bunch of your love and words.

Your friend may have stopped you asking for a souvenir shop to escort her to it.

My apologies for the flowers that die in your hearts before your eyes.

My apologies for the words that age in your tongues before your silence

My apologies for your kindled hearts when they dim because women want marriage more than love

One line of your message, Omar, makes me happier than traveling to San Francisco to take a photo with Donald Trump in front of the garden of the White House

A warm word of love compensates me for going skiing in Moscow

A sincere flower is better than a stroll in the gardens of Andalusia

I stopped wandering around continents and countries as I used to do so. Now, I am wandering between words and alphabets into your message. I have become more interested in freeing your messages than freeing any countries.

Finally my friend!

Do not be a cheapskate and send more messages to me. They are not mere messages as you think, but rather precious tickets to navigate through the cities that I love the most. Cities that we gain nothing from its visiting but great poets like you!

This was a broadcaster’s reply after she received a message from a Yemeni guy. He has written a poem describing her beauty and blonde hair. He has mentioned that her beauty overshadowed his country’s disasters and war when he watched the news. The Arabic poem is very rhetoric and full of metaphors. I tried my best to translate it accurately without ruining it. It touches my heart, so I hope it touches yours too.

May Allah abate these scourges upon Yemenis, Uighurs, Syrians, Palestinians, Iraqis, Libyans, and every free spirit on earth beyond any religions!

Experiences Vs DNA

Finally I finished reading “DNA is not destiny” book, and indeed it was a page turner one. Many times, I echoed that question whether experiences can change our traits, or even defeat our genes or not. I never got the answer until I read that informative book!

If we trace our origins, we will find out that all human beings belong to one forefather “Adam”. However, we have different outlooks, productivity, complexions, languages, races, even different continents to live in. This is due to the environment and its circumstances. As we, human beings, have created that loathsome word “RACES”. Therefore, we incline to categorise others’ education, crime rates, IQ, etc, based on it.

Black people, reportedly, do not get tertiary education. Arabs are living in that stagnant pond of retardation because of their tribal genes. So, they can neither deal with technology nor the contemporary era. Africans have low IQ. White students do much better than other races in schools. All these examples show how influential the environment is. Lock up people in the same room with typical circumstances, then we can rely only on genes.

I remembered Maslow’s hierarchy theory and the former president “Barack Obama”. He would not have been Mr. President, unless he had left his African country. Firstly, he fulfilled his basic needs living in a dreamlike place such as the United States of America. Thus, he was able to better his life pursuing his education at one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Rising up the ladder requires full bellies and safety, otherwise, we would be mere predators devoid of intellect.

I myself would never be the same person without going through some abhorrent situations. We are infants, toddlers, teenagers, adults, elderlies, with no differences, only the exposure to different boundaries what makes us different inwardly and outwardly. Reading that book is definitely a must!

It Is Not Pleasant Being Arab

I have not been blogging for a couple of weeks. However, I was thinking of what should be the next topic throughout that time. I was watching some documentary movies about sex trafficking because of wars, poverty, or maybe illiteracy. In Yemen, a kid got married before puberty, which was according to her father “we wanted to get rid of a burden because of poverty, so we were compelled”. In Pakistan, there is a village where girls get slaughtered in the name of bringing dishonour. Dishonour, according to their loathsome viewpoints, is going out, talking with strangers innocently, or even disobeying their parents’ will. In Lebanon, men take advantage of Syrian women due to their disastrous circumstances as refugees.

Ironically, the society always suspects our entitlement as women as we are delicate and rely on our emotions. Nonetheless, women are their target to satisfy their needs in the most abhorrent way. I myself have been through a lot to correctly evaluate myself as a human being. I have kno bullying from a man. I have got ridiculed from a man. Recently, I had a fallout with my mother. It was one of the fiercest and I opened up the most. She conveyed her desires, and I spoke frankly about my own desires which are totally different from hers. I love my mother, but I would never emulate her. Is it wrong to speak my mind? Is it vulgar to go after my dreams? Should our wings get clipped off to represent obedience and honour? For how long are we going to witness this farce?

This relic should no longer exist. Life is much simpler than this maze. The area is a stagnant pond of retardation. If you approached it. It would swallow you up without any changes apart from another corpse.

Hola amigos from the other side!
